Your Support Means The World

On July 16, Monroe had her right leg amputated after her surgeon fast-tracked what was supposed to be a consultation into immediate surgery. Just days earlier, he had reviewed her X-rays and knew we needed to act fast. Monroe is only 3 years old — full of life, love, and stubborn resilience.
The surgery went well, and she was up and walking on three legs almost immediately. While I am so relieved, this is only the beginning of her journey. We’re now waiting on pathology results and will be moving forward with a referral to the OVC Cancer Centre to explore chemo options. None of this comes without financial strain, and every bit of support helps.
