As a devoted pet owner, I consider my dogs to be family. Their health and well-being have always been my top priority. A significant aspect of their overall health is the food they consume. I strongly believe that preservatives, gluten, fillers, and artificial additives have no place in their diet. This has led me to create Calypso's Kitchen, where we offer natural, wholesome foods and treats designed to support the health and happiness of your pets.
We take pride in using only the finest ingredients in our dog treats. Our commitment to quality ensures that your pets get wholesome, nutritious snacks without any artificial additives. All our products are made in small batches to maintain consistency and quality. We only use all natural ingredients for our treats. Calypso's Kitchen sources ingredients locally, whenever possible.
Your dog's health starts with their food.
Dogs have always been my favorite companions. I strive to give my girls the best life possible. Many store-bought treats are filled with preservatives and unpronounceable ingredients, so I love creating healthy treats for my girls and want to share that with your dogs. If I can help bring happiness to your best friend and enhance their life, I’m all in!
Arabella was my first dog. We were glued to the hip from day one. She came to work with me, the barn, friends' houses, outings, you name it and she was there. She was my child, my whole heart. Arabella was perfection in every sense.
With the assistance of my breeder, she had one litter. And of course, she was perfect at being a mother too

With the assistance of my breeder, she had one litter. And of course, she was perfect at being a mother too. I kept one pup from the litter, Calypso.
I was blessed with 10 wonderful years with Arabella. While a piece of her lives on through Calypso.
Calypso has taught me how resilient dogs can be.

She was born with both eyes, and full vision. When she was 10 months old, within a matter of moments, the pressure in her right eye skyrocketed. It caused her to go blind in her right eye and needing it to be enucleated asap. Four months later, I came home from work and her left eye had suddenly gone blind and the pressure was dramatically high. Luckily, after many efforts were made, her left eye did not need to be enucleated, but she was going to be fully blind for the rest of her life. As much as I was scared, for her, for myself, for what would become of her quality of life and our adventures lifestyle... Calypso never let anything slow her down or tamper her spirit.
A few years down the road, she ruptured her left eye and it had to also be enucleated. But the majority of the time, you'd never know she was blind. Honestly, most of the time, I'd swear she can see somehow.
She is so amazing. Calypso loves to come on off-leash trail rides with my horse and I, hike through rough terrain, train in noseworkand rally, and so much more. It really is astonishing how well her other senses took over.
She's my sweet little miracle girl.
Monroe is my wild child. I'm constantly saying that she embodies a Belgian Malinois. Funny enough, she's also my anxious and reactive one.
Six months after I said good bye to Arabella, Calypso and I had just returned from a road trip through Northern Ontario and my breeder messaged me. He asked me, if it wasn't too soon, if I'd like a pup

Six months after I said good bye to Arabella, Calypso and I had just returned from a road trip through Northern Ontario and my breeder messaged me. He asked me, if it wasn't too soon, if I'd like a pup. He explained that she didn't have the personality traits like any of his other dogs had had. He was concerned that she may end up in the wrong hands and enhance these traits. So naturally, I said I'd take her.
She was noise sensitive, weary of strangers, and anxious at times. Monroe and I have put a lot of work into her confidence and she has come such a long way. Watching how much her personality has strengthened and grown, has been such a gift. She's a little daredevil with a complete lack of self preservation. And yet, at the end of the day, she just wants to cuddle on top of Calypso and I.
